AN exam board is to be handed a £175,000 fine after an impossible GCSE question on Romeo and Juliet left thousands of schoolkids stumped.

The OCR English literature paper confused the two warring families – the Capulets and the Montagues – in Shakespeare's tragedy about two star-crossed lovers.
